I’ve been a Norwich City fan for over 45 years, love the community feel and everything it stands for. Our fans’ social club, which I founded, means the world to me and I will continue to work hard with our team to organise fun events for our wonderful fans to enjoy. Also I’m passionate about our charity the CSF & love raising much needed money for them.
I’ve been watching Norwich City since March 1967. I’ve loved each and every one and made some great friends along the way. I love the community values of our club and being involved with NCFSC. It’s great that we all support the CSF and the fantastic work they do for disadvantaged people throughout Norfolk.
I attended my first match in 1972 and have been hooked ever since. The Social Club has enabled me to meet so many lovely people – fans, players and club staff, all of whom have NCFC close to their hearts.
I have been following Norwich City for around 10 years and currently sit in block E of the Lower Barclay where you can probably hear me singing most of the time. I wanted to join the social club firstly to socialise with fellow Norwich fans but also to raise money for a fantastic charity. Aside from football, I currently work at Aviva and my hobbies apart are going to darts events and spending way too much time at the cinema.
I’m a season ticket holder in the Lower Barclay and try to get to as many away matches as possible. At work I’m a software developer and in my spare time I enjoy video and board games. I live in Norwich with my brilliant wife and annoying cat. Being of the social club has allowed me to contribute in a small way to such an amazing cause.
I have supported the Canaries since I can remember and when I was given the opportunity to work at the Community Sports Foundation, for the club I grew up supporting, it was like a dream come true and 14 years on I am still here. I am part of the Fundraising Team whose aim is to raise money to help support those who are disadvantaged or disabled achieve their goals through the power of sport. In my spare time, I love to spend it with my two young girls, they keep me on my toes!
Growing up in a family often dictated by football, namely Norwich City, I didn’t stand much of a chance but to fall in love with the Canaries. The community feel of the club, the togetherness and the vibrancy of this club coupled with it’s uniqueness in regards to location are all things I absolutely adore. I cannot contemplate supporting anyone else, or being anywhere else on a Saturday at 3pm than a football terrace. In my spare time, I can often be found writing about our football club.
I’ve been following Norwich since 1985, which was the season we won the league cup, but were also relegated, 9 year old me got an early lesson in the ups and downs of supporting NCFC. I love the community aspect of our club, it really does give almost unprecedented access to fans and that’s something to be treasured.
I retired from school leadership 3 years ago and now do part time consultancy. As a long standing season ticket holder at Norwich City, I want to play a part in enhancing the links between the club and it’s fans. The Norwich City Fans Social Club and it’s values fit that desire perfectly as does it’s commitment to back the development of The Nest and the the wonderful CSF.
My Dad took me to my first game at Carrow Road in 1975 and from that moment on I was ‘hooked’. I’ve been lucky enough to see us win at Wembley twice and play in Europe and am a season ticket holder in the Lower Barclay. The social club has given me the chance to meet lots of great like-minded Norwich City fans and I am now pleased to have joined the volunteers team.
I’ve been a Norwich fan since before I can remember currently having a season ticket in the south stand and getting to as many away games as I can. I’ve joined the social club team as a volunteer because they put on fantastic events and raise money for an amazing charity in the CSF. Apart from Norwich city my hobbies include playing bass guitar, going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.
