Bingo Night – Friday 19th April 2024
Norwich City Fans Social Club’s Bingo Night at The Nest on Friday 19th April was a resounding success, raising a fantastic £614 for the Community Sports Foundation, the official charity of Norwich City Football Club.
Around forty eager bingo players, both seasoned bingo pros and curious newcomers, enjoyed an evening of fun and laughter under the watchful (and sometimes hilarious!) eye of bingo caller Emma, who kept the crowd in stitches with her witty banter. While organiser Jade ensured the night ran as smoothly as possible.
Adding to the upbeat atmosphere, the bingo hall echoed with cheers as each winner was announced. The sounds of Sweet Caroline and Samba de Janeiro filled the air, with bingo players merrily clapping along to the catchy tunes.
But the real stars of the show were the incredible prizes up for grabs. Lucky winners took home everything from fine wines and luxurious chocolates to exclusive experiences like a Carrow Road tour for six, leaving no one disappointed.
And the prizes just kept coming! From a £20 voucher for Slater Menswear, to bottles of Copper House Dry Gin and Clementine Gin Liqueur, and even a Teemu Pukki signed picture, there was something to excite every bingo aficionado.
But wait, there’s more! The excitement continued with an array of raffle prizes, including book vouchers, a signed football, and a treasure trove of Norwich City and Community Sports Foundation goodies.
The Norwich City Fans Social Club extends a heartfelt thank you to all who made the night a roaring success.
Kudos to Emma and Jade for their stellar bingo-calling skills, and to the generous individuals and businesses that donated the fabulous prizes.
This included Simon Cheeseman of Slater Menswear, the King’s Head in Coltishall, A Piece of Cake tea room & coffee shop, Grain Inspirations, Norwich City Football Club, and the Community Sports Foundation, who all kindly provided prizes.
Thanks to their support, the bingo night was a fantastic success.
Finally, a special thank you to our social club partner, Fosters Solicitors, who generously covered all expenses, ensuring all proceeds raised on the night went to the Community Sports Foundation.
