Get well soon, Austin!
Everyone at Norwich City Fans Social Club would like to wish Austin Dale a speedy recovery.
The football community is rallying behind 13-year-old Austin from Thetford, who is currently recovering in Addenbrooke’s Hospital after suffering a stroke following a football match.
To uplift his spirits and provide support during his recovery, Austin’s parents are appealing to the football community to send messages of encouragement and well-wishes to their son.
The response has been overwhelming, with numerous individuals and organisations offering their encouragement.
Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul and Rochdale AFC player Ian Henderson, who is also from Thetford, have both sent messages of support to the family.
Austin’s recovery process is expected to be lengthy, possibly lasting weeks or months.
However, with the support of his community and the determination he has already shown by starting to walk again, Austin remains resilient in his fight to regain his health and return to his vibrant self.
We all look forward to seeing Austin’s smile back on his face as he fights to overcome this unexpected obstacle in his young life.
