Steve Stone and Stuart Webber Fans’ Forum – 16th August 2018
Norwich City Managing Director Steve Stone and Sporting Director Stuart Webber were quizzed on a range of pressing topics by a room full of supporters at the Norwich City Fans Social Club Fans’ Forum.

Hosted by Norwich legend and friend of the social club, Darren Eadie, the pair tackled key issues and offered a great insight into the inner workings of the football club.
Webber and Stone entertained supporters with anecdotes and light-hearted comments including why Norwich City have opted to paint their away dressing room pink!
An extensive range of topics were covered in the discussion including the high-profile sales of James Maddison, Josh Murphy, the scouting network and development of youth players were among the points of discussion.
Other topics included hopes for the season, Remi Matthews departure and any potential outgoings or incomings prior to the end of August.
A discussion surrounding how the two guests managed to see the club through a period of financial struggle was both intriguing and eye-opening.
Darren managed proceedings excellently, allowing for both guests to expand on comments and ensuring the conversation was informal yet retained that knowledge those present found interesting to digest.
After an insightful early exchange overseen by Darren Eadie, the floor was opened up to fans’ questions, which provided the supporters with an opportunity to share their pressing concerns or glaring questions with two of Norwich’s major off-pitch protagonists.
Webber and Stone were honest in their answers providing good value with pragmatic answers.
There were also fantastic raffle prizes to be won, including Grant Hanley’s match-worn boots, Aston Oxborough’s gloves, and Wes Hoolahan’s shorts along with other great prizes.
Overall, a good night for Norwich supporters to interact with senior figures and socialise with fellow supporters, all whilst raising hundreds of pounds for the Community Sports Foundation, our wonderful charity which continues to reach out to a range of people across Norfolk.
