Norwich City Fans’ Social Club NCFC Quiz – A Night to Remember!

The inaugural Great Norwich City FC Quiz was a resounding success, bringing together 27 enthusiastic teams for a night of fun, knowledge, and friendly competition.

The event, held in support of the incredible Community Sports Foundation, saw a fantastic turnout, and we are delighted to announce that an impressive £2,249 was raised for this brilliant cause.

The quiz consisted of eight rounds, each designed to challenge and entertain our Norwich City faithful.

The rounds included:
Who am I?
Norwich City Player of the Season
Who Has Scored the Most Goals for Norwich City?
Norwich’s 2023/24 Season
Which Country Did/Do These Players Represent at International Level?
Which Club Did These Players Come From?
Who Made the Most Appearances for Norwich City?
Name the Ground

In addition, there was a special three-part table round featuring player name anagrams, identifying players based on where they signed from and left to, and guessing players from their haircuts – all of which added an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

A huge congratulations to our quiz champions, Forces2Canaries, who took home the top prize with an impressive 108 points. Squirrel Squad followed closely behind in second place with 100 points, while The A-Team secured third place with 98 points. A special mention goes to Simply the Nest, who bravely took home the wooden spoon with 43 points.

As well as the quiz, the evening featured a raffle and both a silent and traditional auction, with some truly outstanding prizes up for grabs. These included a signed and framed Norwich City shirt, generously donated by volunteer Ronnie, a golf day at the prestigious Royal Norwich Golf Course, kindly provided by our wonderful sponsors, Fosters Solicitors, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience donated by the football club’s Head of Communications, Dan Houlker, offering two lucky fans the chance to watch the first team train, attend a match press conference, and much more.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Norwich City Football Club, Fosters Solicitors, and, of course, all the fans who came along and supported the event. Your generosity and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable evening, and we are immensely proud to have raised vital funds for the Community Sports Foundation.
