Volunteers raise over £130 for CSF at NCWFC game with successful raffle
The local community came together in support of a great cause at today’s Norwich City Women’s (NCWFC) match at The Nest.
Three dedicated Norwich City Fans Social Club volunteers, Amy, Diane and Sam, organised a raffle to raise funds for the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) and their efforts were met with great success.
The raffle was a huge hit, with fans eagerly purchasing tickets in the hopes of winning signed NCWFC shirts and other football-related prizes. The hard work of the volunteers paid off as they raised an impressive £130, which will be used to support the CSF’s programmes and initiatives.
Nicol Nicholls, a matchday volunteer for NCWFC, was also in attendance and showed her support for the raffle. Her two lucky daughters were thrilled to win a signed shirt, and Nicholls took to social media to express her delight.
This raffle is just one example of the many ways that Norwich City Fans Social Club raises funds for the CSF, supporting its mission to provide sports and activities for people of all ages and abilities. The success of the event is a testament to the generosity and kindness of the local community, and the efforts of the volunteers will have a lasting impact on the CSF and its programmes, as well as the lives of the people in the Norfolk area.
