The Norwich City Fans’ Social Club organized an extraordinary Family Fun Day at The Nest to raise funds for the Community Sports Foundation. This spectacular event aimed to bring together families, football enthusiasts, and the local community for a day filled with joy, excitement, and camaraderie, all while supporting a fantastic cause.
Thanks to your amazing generosity we raised £1,676 on the day between the Family Fun Day and the 6-A-Side Football Tournament. those funds will be invaluable to the Community Sports Foundation and go directly towards their work with disabled and disadvantaged children and young adults through the power of sport.
A Carnival of Activities:
The Family Fun Day featured a plethora of exciting activities that catered to visitors of all ages. From the moment the gates opened, attendees were greeted with an assortment of stalls and games that promised a day packed with entertainment.
Lucky Dip & Raffle: The day began with eager participants trying their luck at the Lucky Dip, where they had the chance to win an array of delightful prizes. Additionally, the Raffle provided an opportunity for attendees to win even more fantastic gifts, all while contributing to the fundraising efforts.
Delectable Delights: Food enthusiasts were in for a treat with a delightful array of cakes and biscuits available at the cake stall. From mouthwatering brownies to scrumptious cookies, there was something to satisfy every sweet craving. Thanks to The Bake House Sheringham and all others who contributed. The BBQ was also a great success and was busy throughout the day.
Meet & Greet with Spiderman: A special guest made a memorable appearance at the event as the friendly neighborhood Spiderman swung by to delight kids and fans of all ages. This added a touch of superhero magic to the day and created unforgettable memories for the attendees.
Thrilling Adventures: The Challenge Woods and Zip Wire stole the show, captivating the children with their adrenaline-pumping adventures. Laughter and screams of joy echoed throughout the day as kids conquered the challenges, making it an unforgettable experience for all.
Action-Packed Sports: Sports enthusiasts were not left disappointed, as The Nest was brimming with engaging activities. From table tennis to volleyball, the sports enthusiasts had an opportunity to showcase their skills and engage in friendly competition.
Giant Jenga & Soccer Inflatable: The excitement continued with Giant Jenga, where participants tested their skills in maintaining balance and precision. The Giant Soccer Inflatable, in particular, was a hit among the kids, with friendly matches and enthusiastic cheers resonating throughout the event.
