Former Norwich City players & Sky Sports presenter join forces for mental health event

Norwich City Fans Social Club made headlines with the publication of an article in the Norwich Evening News which looks forward to the club’s upcoming event, organised to raise awareness about mental health and provide support for those in need.

Former Norwich City Football Club player, Darren Eadie, and Sky Sports presenter, Simon Thomas, are among the guest speakers at the Mental Health Awareness Evening, being held on Monday 23rd January at Carrow Road. The pair will share their personal experiences with mental health and the impact it has had on their lives. Their discussions will provide a powerful message about the importance of seeking help and creating a supportive environment for those struggling with mental health issues.

In addition to the discussions, nineteen local mental health groups will also be present at the event, providing information about the resources available to those in need of support. They will underline the importance of seeking help and emphasise the various forms of mental health support available.

The event is expected to be well attended by fans of the football club and members of the local community. In previous years, attendees have expressed appreciation of the opportunity to listen to the experiences of the former players and engage in open and honest discussions about mental health.

The publication of the article in the Norwich Evening News is a testament to the efforts of the Norwich City Fans Social Club in promoting mental health awareness and support in the local community. The club should be proud of their efforts in creating a safe and supportive environment for their fans and providing a platform for important conversations about mental health.
