Alex Neil and Backroom Staff Fans Forum – 9th December 2015

Hope you all enjoyed the fans’ forum with Alex Neil and his staff, here’s our press release which sums up our thoughts on the evening

“The Norwich City Fans Social Club enjoyed further success with their fans’ forum on Wednesday night. The event, a Q&A forum with Alex Neil and his coaching staff, was well attended and universally well received. Alex himself was charming, charismatic and humorous but also displayed his vast knowledge of the game and his meticulous nature having notes of statistics prepared and to hand. His openness was refreshing and he answered every question asked fully and with logical justification.

Topics that were covered ranged from strategy in the transfer window, which pundits would make good managers, does he enjoy the banter with some of the bigger personalities in the dugouts, our youth set up, the team he supported as a lad and, of course, referees. Ably supported by Frankie McAvoy, Gary Holt and Dean Kiely, Alex Neil has an infectious confidence and his exchanges with fans and Adrian Forbes alike left little doubt that Norwich City are in excellent hands moving forward.

Our next event is a Legends Evening on Wednesday 10th February, further details to follow.

Over £1000 has now been raised by our fans social club for the CSF which is great news for such a worthwhile charity.”

Raffle prizes won on the night included a football signed by our players, an ncfc home shirt, Tales from the City book donated by Mick Dennis, cookery book donated by renowned chef Richard Hughes of the Lavender House Restaurant, a bowling voucher donated by Hollywood Bowl, a bottle of whisky, a voucher donated by the Chapelfield Shopping Centre and some ncfc goodies

All proceeds from our raffles are always donated to the CSF
